At our core, we believe and are dedicated to serving relationships by way of teaching, coaching, training, mentoring, and connecting through meaningful & purposeful gatherings.

As current high-level ambassadors in the public and higher education sectors, we believe educating and equipping others is at the foundation of growth. With over two decades of experience in education, we use our teaching expertise to educate and support couples in areas related to improving and sustaining healthy relationships.

Because we value the power of education, we believe that you can never stop learning how to improve your marriage or dating relationship and because of this, we have been fortunate to mentor couples at different stages of their relationship, witnessing our approach flourish over the years.

Since 2008 we have been honored to serve couples and families at various seasons of their relationship. Our services encompass comprehensive and customized consultation and coaching focused on relational best practices. Our workshops, training, and retreats are designed to provide couples with valuable tools, skills, and insights for strengthening their connections.

Ovett Wilson ED.S

Ovett O. Wilson is a distinguished certified Maxwell coach, speaker, and trainer, acclaimed for his impactful work in leadership and personal development. Originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica, and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Mr. Wilson relocated to Tampa to attend the University of South Florida. His academic achievements in Language Arts led him to earn a Bachelor’s in English Education, a Master’s in Educational Leadership, and an Ed.S. in Turnaround Leadership.

Together with his wife, Dr. Adrianne Wilson, Mr. Wilson founded My Marriage Mentors ®, a relationship coaching, training, and teaching ministry dedicated to fostering healthy relationships and families. With nearly two decades of experience in education, school leadership, and adjuncting, Ovett and Dr. Adrianne use their expertise to educate and support couples, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning in nurturing strong marriages and families. Furthermore, they are the authors of The Ten Laws of Winning, a book filled with profound strategies for living a successful and productive life, and the My Marriage Mentors Podcast.

In addition to his coaching and mentoring roles, Ovett Wilson brings nearly two decades of school principalship to his current role as the proud principal of Pizzo K-8, an inner-city school located on the campus of the University of South Florida. His dedication to education and leadership continues to inspire and make a significant impact on the lives of students and families.

Mr. Wilson’s greatest passion is teaching about the amazing love of God, empowering relationships to thrive, and cherishing time with his beautiful wife, Adrianne, and their two incredible sons, Jadon (16) and Josiah (13). He has served as an elder at his church for over two decades, demonstrating his commitment to faith and community.

Dr. Adrianne Wilson

Dr. Adrianne Wilson is a distinguished certified Maxwell coach, speaker, and trainer, specializing in women’s empowerment, leadership development, and wellness. Dr. Wilson is a native of Tampa, FL., where she continues to pour into her community as the current President of the Tampa Bay Area Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women. Dr. Wilson is also the academic chair for the education department, director of the educational leadership program, and a tenured associate professor of Educational Leadership at the University of Tampa.

Together, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson founded My Marriage Mentors ®, a relationship coaching, training, and teaching ministry dedicated to fostering healthy relationships and families. With nearly two decades of experience in education and school leadership, Ovett and Dr. Adrianne use their expertise to educate and support couples, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning in nurturing strong marriages and families. Dr. Wilson is an esteemed scholar who has authored a number of publications on educational leadership, emotional agility, wellness, and teacher preparation. She is also a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion and serves as a consultant for public and private schools in her local community.
